Concealed Carry Guns - What the Latest 1911's

1911's still dominate the landscape and 2016 is no different.

Here are a few of the new 1911's that were shown at SHOW Show 2106.

  • Smith & Wesson introduces a machine-engraved SW1911. Chambered in .45 ACP, it showcases decorative machine engraving on the left and right side of the stainless steel slide and frame. The intricate line work extends across the pistol’s 5-inch barrel. It features a glass bead finish and rosewood-colored grips. The SW1911 weighs 39.8 oz. unloaded, with an overall length of 8.7 inches.
  • The 1911 chambered in .45 ACP from Coonan has a linkless barrel, pivoting trigger, and external extractor. These features are found in every Coonan pistol. With an overall length of 8.4 inches, the Coonan 1911 in .45 ACP is made of 17-4 PH stainless steel. Its 5-inch barrel is of 4340 carbon steel with a hard chrome plate.
  • The Colt Competition Pistol™, which is available in .45 ACP or 9mm, offers several features that competitive shooters will appreciate, including Colt’s innovative DualSpring Recoil System™ developed for the M45A1 in order to reduce recoil and help keep shots on target at critical moments.
  • The Lightweight Commander®, offered in .45 ACP or 9mm, affords enthusiasts the ability to concealed-carry a real 1911 platform pistol comfortably. With a shorter profile and lower weight than a traditional full size Government Model®, the Lightweight Commander® offers the Dual Spring Recoil System™ and custom Colt G10 grips, among other enhancements.
